DrukAssist is a digital marketplace that connects travellers with licensed Bhutanese tour operators. We manage the bidding process, collect deposits, and facilitate communication — we do not operate tours directly.
Cancellation policies vary by operator and are specified in your booking confirmation. Generally: cancellations more than 30 days before arrival may receive a partial refund; cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable. DrukAssist will mediate disputes in good faith.
The Bhutanese government charges an SDF of USD $100 per person per night. This fee is NOT included in any DrukAssist package and is collected separately at the border or airport.
All tourists (except Indian and Bangladeshi nationals) require a Bhutan visa, which your tour operator will assist with. Visa fees are not included in the package price.

DrukAssist facilitates connections between tourists and licensed operators. We do not employ guides, own vehicles, or operate hotels. Your tour is managed entirely by your chosen operator.
All operators on DrukAssist are licensed by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB). However, DrukAssist is not liable for the quality, safety, or delivery of services provided by operators. Any disputes are to be raised with the operator in the first instance, with DrukAssist available to mediate.
Submitting a trip request does not guarantee you will receive bids. In the unlikely event that no operators bid on your request, you will be notified and your request can be resubmitted with adjusted requirements.
All pricing shown in bids is provided by operators. DrukAssist validates the mathematical accuracy (GST calculation, minimum floor price) but does not independently verify that prices reflect fair market rates.
The Sustainable Development Fee (USD $100/person/night) and visa fees are government charges separate from DrukAssist packages. These are your responsibility to arrange and pay.
DrukAssist's liability is limited to the deposit amount paid for the relevant booking. We are not liable for trip cancellations, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Your data is stored in secured Google Sheets and Google Cloud Storage, both with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data for 3 years after your trip for compliance and dispute resolution.
